The Real Thing RPG is a zine-style trilogy created in conjunction with the grunge-era band, Faith No More. The boxed set includes all three premium quality softcover books in a beautiful slipcase and sheath. Clocking in at 400 combined pages, the three-volume game is a unique Powered-by-the-Apocalypse implementation that focuses on immersive narration and emergent gameplay. The books contain a complete system for creating and running homebrew games, as well as a three-part story that takes a group through more than 60 hours of gameplay. It is a unique blend of noir 1990s action-drama and urban fantasy suitable for gamers ages 16+.
Each book has dozens of custom black and white, zine-style artwork, giving it an edgy graphic novel feel.
