The world of this game has fallen within the last decade and a half, and the PCs are generally old enough to remember the Before Times, when technology advanced too far beyond the balance of ethics, and corporate greed inadvertently brought the world to the attention of inscrutable cosmic beings, hungry for our minds and planet.
