Powerful empires compete with each other to increase their influence. Cities are besieged, epic battles take place in open fields, and various kingdoms are annexed. At the same time, imposing structures are built: temples for the gods and palaces for the powerful rulers. Who will conquer the largest territory and build the most beautiful buildings?
Battles & Builders is played in 8 rounds. In each round you can earn prestige points by constructing imposing buildings or expanding your empire. You win Battles & Builders if you have collected the most prestige points after 8 rounds. Each round, 1 event tile is played. The event tiles indicate the locations for which battles will be fought. During each round you can place builders to earn prestige points or armies to get the event tile. You can also bet a combination of builders and armies if you want to spread your chances or think you can win on both fronts. The idea is to use your chits as efficiently as possible, because you can only use each chit once.
