The One must Prevail expansion allows you to play Altar in solitaire mode with one player playing the God of Chaos.
The 4 opposing Gods are placed on the playing field (a fifth God having been consumed by the God of Chaos).
The God of Chaos has no special abilities, while the other Gods have tokens representing their abilities on their realm.
The Gods also have Followers associated with them:
God of War has Warriors
God of Light has Paladins
Ancient God have affection cards (Abomination, Sorcerer, Deceiver),
Goddess of Death has Daemonesses,
Goddess of Love has Seers and Tempters
