Fully in the pocket of the ruling class, the City Guard are a force to be reckoned with. Well armed and armoured, there are much worse professions in Venice. If you don't mind doing some questionable things, the coin is good!
The City Guard are part of the Patricians, and as such you can expect each fighter to outclass their peers. With a long ranged Marksman and two Guard Sentries, you'll have command over the battlefield. A Heavy Guard will hold the line, while the Seven Years Veteran (the only one to have seen actual warfare) is a bold and inspiring fighter.
